The Golden Age of Cinema
Movies have been around for quite some time but the 70's are noted for the best generation of movies. The biggest reason for the 70's producing some of the best movies is because of the creativeness and the relativity of the movies to that specific period of time. Some of the biggest block busters of that time include Jaws by Steven Spielberg, The Godfather, The Exorcist, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Yet there a few that stand out more than those because not only were they produced in the 70's but they finished most of the franchises in the 2000's like Star Wars, Rocky, and Indiana Jones. Those are just some of the most famous movies that were finished in the 2000's, yet there many movies from the the 70's that were remade during the 2000's like Superman, The Exorcist, Halloween, and The Longest Yard.
The Comparison
Although the films that came out in the 1970's are the originals they carry on today while inspiring remakes of the same film or finishing a series of the set of movies. Another big reason for a remake for a lot of the movies today is because of all the new technology. With new green and blue screens making movies has not only become simpler but allowed producers to really make them come to life. No matter when people were born they can still enjoy the movies of the past and the remakes today. It is a great way for older and younger generation to connect and have more in common. It is always really neat to compare the older movies with today's movies as well. Seeing how they change the storyline and make it better gives each movie their own twist.
